Monday Memoirs

Friday - We went Geocaching and this time it was a success!! We had such a fun time hunting for the "treasure"!! We ended up finding four geocaches and we got a few little treasures to take home. We will definitely be doing this again - SO fun!!!
Justin, Amanda, and Heidi came over and we picked up Nathan and went to get frozen custard (even though it was freezing outside). It was really good! Thanks for telling us about that place, McDaniels. Jed and I were home fairly early, so while he was in the bedroom studying or reading or something, I turned on Harry Potter because I was randomly in the mood for it. As soon as the music starts, Jed comes in and asks if he can watch it with me. He got all excited like a little school boy. It was a good night. ;)

Saturday - In the morning, I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to get a present for my friend's bridal shower, that started about a half hour later. They couldn't find her registry, and then after I picked out the present, they had a 20-minute wait on gift-wrapping. I was there for an hour, and was late to the shower. It worked out ok though. So my friend Angela Nelson is getting married!! Her shower was way fun and I got to meet Megan (a friend of mine's wife whom I had never met) and see Sabrina and J'Nette. J'Nette didn't bring her baby, so I'll have to make the drive to her house to see the cute little guy. Angela is great and she deserves the best. I'm so glad that she found a wonderful guy like Chance to treat her right and be an awesome husband to her.

After the shower, I ran over to my partner's house to work on our stupid project for school. It is taking entirely too long to finish this thing. I was there for three hours and we barely made a dent in it. So frustrating!

Then I went over to Adrianna's house for a facial party. A woman from home (San Antonio), Charlotte Ekstrom, was there and it was so good to see her again. She actually taught me piano when I was younger. I hadn't seen her in years and it was so fun to catch up on things.
Jed had to go in to work, but when he got off, we went out to dinner to Fuddruckers with Charlotte, Adrianna, her boyfriend Tony, and Charlotte's niece Megan. It was really good - the company was great!

Jed had never seen Drop Dead Gorgeous, and I was in the mood for a good laugh, so we popped it in. I love that movie!

Sunday - **Warning: this is a bit of a rant** If any of you have worked in the nursery at church before, you know that sometimes kids cry and cry for their parents for a long time. And then there are the parents whose kid is fine, but yet they stay in there for who knows what reason. Well we had a guy yesterday (I don't think they are in our ward, or else they're new) who came in for the first time with his kid. We were doing puzzles at the table with the kids and a few of them were reading books. The guy's kid tries to come over and do puzzles with us and his dad yanks him back and like makes him read a book and the kid starts crying. Weird, right? Then the guy stays in nursery the entire time (which, if your kid is having a rough day and crying a lot, etc, is fine) even though his kid is totally good and doesn't need his dad in there.
Well my philosophy is that if you are skipping class to be in nursery with your kid, you are responsible for your kid - I will not watch kids whose own parents are in the same room. This kid keeps running around stealing other kids' toys, turning the CD player up full blast, then he goes over to the toy closet and starts pulling a huge tub of wooden blocks off the shelf above his head. I saw it coming. I knew it was going to fall on him. Where was the dad? On the other side of the room, not even looking in the direction of the child. What the crap? Leave already. So Jed was near the kid and stopped him before he knocked himself out. Not two minutes after that, this little kid goes over to one of our girls and gives her a hug and then leans in for a kiss on the cheek. Cute, right? No. He bit her cheek as hard as he could. The dad wasn't even paying attention. The duo left right after that. AND GOOD RIDDENCE!

So....that was my weekend. :)

Friday Foto Fix

This is the pesto pizza I made yesterday from scratch!! We didn't have any shredded mozzarella, so I peeled string cheese and used that. :)
(And added cheddar cheese to half of it for Jed - he likes lots of cheese)

MUSTACHE PARTY!

We played Pin the Stache on Ned [Flanders].
(Turn your head to the left for this one)

Jed was pretty close. Close to looking like a hippie... :)

Nathan eventually made it to the Ned.

I actually won!!

I was the pink one - they said I was closest.
Notice the blue stache. Not mine.

The boys decided to play "Ring Wars" where they spun their wedding rings and tried to knock the other guy's ring off. Good times. :)

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that nobody commented on the fact that I got under 245. NOT! Hey, that's my first big milestone right there. And I was SUPER proud of myself when I saw that! I'm down almost 7 pounds!

I am thankful that Jed is clean-shaven again.
I am thankful that I was able to get my tires rotated today.
I am thankful that I didn't have to commute in this snow we've been getting.
I am thankful that I am all caught up in school.
I am thankful that I got my period... Sorry TMI.
I am thankful that I decided what to do for My First Ever Give Away!
I am thankful that Amanda is coming to spin class with Monique and me (yes, that is correct English) tonight.
I am thankful that Monique is pushing me to go to spin.
I am thankful that I got all of the laundry put away.
I am thankful that I was able to make homemade pesto today.
I am thankful that I was able to make homemade pizza with pesto on it today. (Photo on Friday)
I am thankful that I got to take a bubble bath last night.
I am thankful that I really enjoy my Wednesday night class.
I am thankful that we have a woodpecker living nearby. (No sarcasm - I think it's cool. His name is Woody.)

Wednesday Weigh-In

Nobody told me it was this easy!! Just kidding.

244.9 (under 245)!!! :D

Movie Review - Twilight

One word: vomit.

First of all, Edward was hideous! "Angel-like"? Not in a million years.
Then you had to get past all of the horrible acting. The best actor was Bella's dad and he had a tiny role.
Jed and I were laughing out loud throughout most of the movie because it was SO CHEESY!!!

If there wasn't so much hype about the (awful) book, this movie would have tanked at the box office. Nuff said.

Thank Goodness for Razors

Remember THIS?? Yuck. I had to kiss that.

Then THIS happened...

And now I'm happy because I get to kiss THIS.

Monday, March 23, 2009

Wow.

Talk about unobservant. Why didn't anyone tell me that I still had my St. Patrick's Day background up?!?

Monday Memoirs

Friday - I went to the dentist and got 2 crowns put on, and a cavity filled. I got the Novocain and nitrous oxide. That was nice - kinda felt like I was high or something. AND I got to watch Wife Swap for three hours while the work was being done. Was it worth it to have so much dental work done? Not so much. Nothing is ever worth dental work.

Saturday - I had scheduled a doctor's appointment for Jed at 8am. Yeah, 8am on a SATURDAY. We won't have insurance after the end of the month, so I had to get it in while we could. So we go to the appointment and I came home and slept for another hour while Jed played video games or something.

I was going to go this financial seminar, but I was late and there was not a single parking spot in the whole lot, so I just left. I called Meals and we went to Costco. Then I went to the park where Jed was playing frizz and hung out with Amanda. After the boys' game, we had a little lunch and then went home.

Later on, we went over to Justin and Amanda's house for a Mustache Party! (The whole reason Jed has been growing one for the past three weeks.) It was super fun! My mustache was the bristles of a few paintbrushes glued to my lip... check it out by clicking on Mustache Party above. I'll post the pictures I took on Friday. Amanda did an awesome job and the party was great!

Sunday - Nursery went by a lot faster this week. I feel like we're finally getting 'settled' in. After church, I met with my visiting teachers (there are four of us who teach each other) and it would have been a short meeting, but my partner kept going on and on about random things that were happening at her job... We had our home teachers coming over a half hour after church ended and Jed had to call them and have them come 15 minutes later. So we came home and had our home teacher and his brother over.

We missed the deadline for turning in our ecclesiastical endorsements, so we had to go up to the church and meet with the bishop, and then from there we flew over to the stake center to get a seat for the Draper temple dedication. It was a great dedication and I'm glad that we were able to go.

We had my cousins (Sarah and David) and Jed's brother (Nathan) over for dinner. We played some Wii and had Oreo Pie for dessert. Nathan stayed and watched The Simpsons Movie with us because he had never seen it. I hadn't seen it in a while - it was funny. :)

The End.

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that I liked what I saw when I weighed myself this morning.
I am thankful that I am reasonably healthy (no major health problems besides just being obese...).
I am thankful that I was able to get Jed in to see the doctor before our insurance runs out.
I am thankful that I have a dentist appointment today (again, before insurance runs out).
I am thankful that I met Monique. We haven't kept in touch very much recently, but we talked today and we're going to a spin class together this evening.
I am thankful that I was able to do the Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred DVD all the way through yesterday - she kicks your butt!
I am thankful to have a roof over my head.
I am thankful that I have never had to go to bed hungry for lack of food.
I am thankful that we have two cars.
I am thankful that I have a WONDERFUL family who cares about me so much.
I am thankful that I have a little brother who is worthy to serve a full-time mission for our church.
I am thankful that I have extended family within driving distance.
I am eternally thankful that Jed came in to my life - he has changed me for the better.
I am thankful for my friends and the good times we have.
I am thankful that I am able to go to school - financially, mentally, physically.
I am thankful that I was able to sit next to some great people in one of my classes - we have so much fun!
I am thankful that one of those people is my partner for our final project - Aubrey is great!
I am thankful that the three people I sit by took my three bags of Amish Friendship Bread. :)
I am thankful that I get to live on this earth, at this time.
I am thankful that I know I have a purpose in life.
I am thankful that I get to live one more day.

Sorry, some of those are really random, but that's how I feel. Take it or leave it. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Today has been a good day. I'm wearing green. I'm wearing new clothes I got at the mall last night. I'm having a good hair day. I finished my paper 2 hours early. I made green cookies. I got to spend time with Jed this afternoon. AND Biggest Loser is on tonight!!! :D

I also got to go back to my old office and have lunch with my old coworkers. It was so good to see all of them and I really, really miss them!! More than missing my job, I miss my coworkers. They are great people and really made me feel at home.

Free *NEW* Roast Burger from Arby's

I know it's too big...just click on it. Then print.

Monday Memoirs

Friday - We went to the BYU vs. Utah baseball game with Seth & Megan, Justin & Amanda, and Adam & Amanda. It was freezing! But we did get free hot dogs and soda (yeah, cold soda...). I'm glad we got there when we did because people were standing in the aisles - I guess they oversold the game. Utah got 7 runs in the first inning, then BYU came back towards the end and barely lost (13-15).

Saturday - We went to the Draper Temple open house in the morning. It was a little crowded, but really pretty! ;) I can't wait until we can go back!

After the open house, we went to lunch at a new place in West Jordan called Grille from Impanema. The concept is like Tucanos, but it was not nearly as good and there wasn't much variety either. Oh, and there was one other couple in the entire restaurant, which made it kind of awkward. Especially after they left and we were there alone. We will not be going back...

We drove up to Gateway to the Clark Planetarium to catch a movie, Under the Sea in 3D. It was pretty good, if you don't get sick from 3D stuff... It kinda hurt my eyes a little bit. Jim Carrey narrated, which was neat. We did some shopping after the movie and then we had to head home because I was feeling really sick.

Sunday - I didn't go to church because I was tired from being sick all night (and I was still feeling really crappy). I slept most of the day, and spent the rest in the bathroom... :( When Jed got home from church, I moved from the bed to the couch, sipped some Sprite, and started feeling a little better - it might have something to do with the fact that I watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang too. Who knows? I also sewed up a hole in one of our blankets. (And I'm still working on our T-shirt quillow)

That's about all. I still haven't heard back about that job. Maybe I should start looking in other places and not putting all of my eggs in one basket?? Please, if you remember, keep me and my job-hunting in your prayers. I would aprreciate it. :D

Need to Know!!!

Where can I get Girl Scout cookies? I seriously haven't had any in YEARS! Has anyone seen them at Wal-Mart on Parkway?? I need Girl Scout cookies!!! :) (And I promise I will be freezing them and eating over the whole year)

Friday Foto Fix

This is the really yummy Italian ice place we went to a little bit ago.

This is Jed, trying to grow a mustache for an upcoming "mustache party"...

This is what Jed did after I came home and told him I lost my job - put on my hard hat and started looking for another job for me online.

This is Jed in my PPE from work.

Amish Friendship Bread I got from a coworker - SO yummy!

The orchestra Megan performed with.

Me this morning (just woke up, can you tell?)

...and me this afternoon. I'm still not sure if I like it yet. :\ (Jed didn't even notice - 4 inches gone!!)

This little girl had some really staticy hair at the baseball we went to tonight.

Baseball game: BYU vs. Utah. (See the mustache taking form?)

Wednesday Weigh-In

Well I would have done really well on the weigh-in this week, but we went to a soup/salad buffet last night and the scale was not nice to me today. :\
248.2

Boring...

I realize that I haven't really posted any pictures for a while and that my posts haven't been so frequent lately, so I'm going to try to work on the posts...and I'll have a Friday Foto Fix this week. :) Be happy.

Monday Memoirs - A Day Late

Friday - We went to see our friend Megan play the oboe in a local community orchestra. She played really well and even had a solo! Adam and Amanda met us at the concert and it was a really fun date night. Afterward, we all went out with Megan's grandparents to the Purple Turtle for milkshakes. (Jed and I are not big fans of this place, but the company was fun.) Megan's grandparents are so cute and really funny!
Jed and I went over to the Nielsen's house for game night. They always teach us fun new games!

Saturday - We went to the distribution center and spent $80 on stuff for Jed. Yeah, $80. And then we went to the temple for a bit.
It was pretty snowy in the morning, but then I guess Jed realized that the snow had melted in the afternoon and he met up with his friends for frizz (aka frisbee). I am not a frizz player, so I sat in the car and read my new book, The Surrendered Wife, that was recommended to me by Monique. It's a really good book so far!
Once our husbands were finally finished playing, we all (McDaniels, Nathan, and us) went to dinner at Nicoitalia - yummy! Then Heidi joined us and we all went bowling!! I won the second game, thank you very much! ;)
Oh, and I got hit on at the bowling alley. (I had greasy, slicked-back hair and was wearing a hoodie and jeans - no make-up.) I would have been flattered, but I don't think that guy could see... ;)

Sunday - It was my turn to teach the lesson in nursery. It went really well. Nursery is hit-or-miss as far as boredom. Sometimes I'm super bored and the two hours drag on and on, and other times it goes really quickly.
We had Jed's brother, Nathan, over for dinner - I made chicken and rice casserole. It was SO good, thanks to my friend, Corinne's sauce recipe.
And then I made Amish Friendship Bread because a friend at work had given me a bag of dough/batter. I had never heard of it before, but the bread was really good and I'm excited to make it again in a few days! We took some dough/batter around to some friends, along with the finished product. I hope they liked it and will continue passing it along. :) (If you live in the area and would like me to bring you some dough/batter and bread the next time I make it, please leave me a comment and I'll share the love with you!)

Monday - I slept in until 10. :) I made lunch for Jed for when he came home between work and school, I didn't clean the house, I made green chocolate chip cookies to send to our brothers who are on missions (for St. Patrick's Day), Jed and I worked out, I didn't clean the house, we went grocery shopping and grabbed dinner at Sensuous Sandwich (yum) in the snow, I didn't clean the house, and I worked out on the Wii Fit to burn off some more of my dinner. ;)
Then, I'm in the bedroom and there's a knock at the door. Jed answers it and I hear singing. Like carollers. I come out (unfortunately for the company still in my nasty work-out clothes) to find Meals and Trent at my front door with cookies for us. They're so sweet. Did I mention before that I didn't clean the house at all today, and that it looked like a tornado victim lived here? (Still does by the way) Kind of embarrassing... But the cookies they made were delish - I only got a few before the plate was empty! And we're going out to dinner with them tonight to one of their favorite places (that Jed and I have never been to) - Sweet Tomatoes! It looks pretty good and I'm excited!

Today - I slept in until 10 again. :) I made lunch for Jed again, I didn't clean the house (again), I dropped Jed's car off at the shop and took him to work, and I looked for jobs and realized that there is hardly anything out there. Amanda IMed me and let me know that they are looking to hire someone at her office and it's a position that's right up my alley. She was just told about it today, so nobody has been interviewed yet. She's going to keep me posted - I really hope it works out!! :D

25. Quarter. 5^2. Whatever.

I'm not the kind of person to do things at the peak of their popularity (unless I really, really like it). I usually wait until it's not so popular anymore and then I explore it to see if I even want to participate. (Case in point: Twilight. I picked up the first book after the movie came out. And I hated it - it was awful. But that's a whole other post...)
So, that being said, here's my list of 25 random things about myself:

1. If I'm eating a food that consists of a bunch of little pieces (like popcorn or M&Ms), I always pick up a few with one hand and then put them in the palm of my other hand before eating them.

2. A few times when I was babysitting my little brother, in order to keep him in bed, I told him that if he got out of bed I would call the police and they would take him away for being a bad boy. Looking back, that was really, really cruel (and probably traumatizing...). Sorry, Tom.

3. I burn at the beginning of the summer and then it turns in to a great tan and I don't burn again.

4. My favorite stuffed animal when I was little was a white bunny. Her name was Queeny because my mom brought her back from England. She disappeared when I was about six and I just assumed she had been thrown away. This year for my birthday, one of my presents was Queeny - my mom had found her in some old boxes after the flood!

5. I don't have a gall bladder.

6. I've been on two cruises. Both Carnival, both hit Cozumel.

7. I got a 32 on my ACT - first time!

8. I "got married" on two different occasions when I was five - Andrew Sousa and Josh Erikson. When "the priest" (my sister, Emily) said "You may now kiss the bride", I dipped both of them and kissed them. I was boy-crazy from the start.

9. I never learned that song about the States when I was in elementary school. Somehow everyone else knew/knows it but me. ("Alabama, Alaska, Arizona...")

10. I have been a BYU student for 5.5 semesters and I have never seen a BYU devotional.

11. I don't do seafood. Period.

12. I've been in the audience for a Last Comic Standing show and I was in the audience for the third Price is Right episode that Drew Carey hosted. I got my homemade T-shirt signed by Drew because I ran up to the stage during a commercial break!! :D

13. I taught myself how to read during the summer before Kindergarten.

14. I've never seen a Star Wars movie.

15. I bite string cheese, I don't peel it like most people.

16. I loved dolphins when I was a kid and for the longest time wanted to be a Marine Biologist. That is until I realized that they didn't just hang out with dolphins all day...

17. My fingers are double-jointed. It works in my favor around Halloween. :)

18. My favorite book is A Tale of Two Cities.

19. In elementary school (3rd grade?) I got sent to the principal's office for flooding the boys' bathroom with two of my guy friends. I don't know if my mom ever found out because they didn't make me call her because I felt so bad about (I was bawling - I always cry when I get in big trouble with authority figures). I don't know if I ever let Mom in on that little secret of mine...did I?

20. I have really high arches. And I hate feet, my own included.

21. Poor grammar and poor spelling are my biggest pet peeves! I lose a little bit of respect for people who repeatedly use poor English. (PS~ If I ever do this in my blog, please leave me a comment so I can correct it. I was more than likely typing faster than my brain could keep up. Or something.)

22. I have to sleep with the bedroom door closed.

23. I don't do other peoples' dishes. Period.

24. I've gotten air in a 4700-pound 1993 Chevy Suburban. Good times. :) (sorry Mom...)

25. Every family Christmas letter when I was younger always had a special section just for me, called "Ali Haps". It was about all of the crazy things I had done throughout the year. Some of those things may or may not have included 1. telling my teacher that one of our family rules was that we didn't drink out of the toilet (we didn't even have a dog then), or 2. getting my finger stuck a few times in this hole on the oven door that acted like a Chinese finger trap and having to call the paramedics to come get me loose, or 3. trying to walk home "like a blind person" from the mailbox down the street and walking face-first into a parked car, or 4. sneaking into my mom's bathroom and burning my hair "for a hair cut". The list goes on and on...

Thankful Thursday?

I'm thankful that I got to sleep in this morning.
I'm thankful that I didn't have to go to work today.
I'm thankful that I was home when Jed came home for lunch.
I'm thankful that we don't have cable, or else I might just sit in front of the TV all day and not do anything productive.
I'm thankful that I had time during the day to clean the house.
I'm thankful that I was able to talk to my dad about everything today.
I'm thankful that I got to go to the gym during the day when there weren't very many people there.
I'm thankful that I worked out for 45 minutes.
I'm thankful that Mr. "Put-on-too-much-hair-product-before-going-to-the-gym" only stayed on the treadmill next to me for 20 minutes.
I'm thankful that I was able to go grocery shopping during the day.
I'm thankful that I got to stay in my gym clothes all day while I ran errands.

Are you seeing a pattern here??

I got laid off yesterday. However...
I'm thankful that I get four weeks of pay while I'm looking for another job.
I'm thankful that I have insurance for those four weeks - time to get the dentist visit in...
I'm thankful that I was given three leads on other jobs that they knew about.

Yesterday my internet at work randomly stopped working around noon. I rebooted my computer, hoping it might help somehow, and I was locked out of my computer. I should have read between the lines. They were going to do it the day before yesterday, but I left before they got the opportunity. :\

I got called in to a conference room yesterday, about 30 minutes before I was supposed to leave, and was laid off. I tried to email myself all of the files on my work computer and then I sent out one final goodbye email to my coworkers, gathered up all of my things, and left. I didn't call Jed right away - I didn't want to tell him over the phone. I walked in with my box and Jed thought we had gotten a package. And then I started sobbing. He held me for a long time, telling me it would be ok, and then he jumped on the computer and started looking for jobs for me. :) At least now I have some free time during the day to get things done. For now. I need to find another job. I hate job-hunting. :(

Weigh-In Update

I weighed myself this morning and it was 247.8
with a 39.82 BMI!!!! :D Much better!!

Wednesday Weigh-In

I guess exercising would be better than being dead. But not by much. ;)

This week's weigh-in is...

[Drum roll please]

Weight: 248.5
BMI: 39.93

It's up from last week (sigh) but that's because I didn't work out at all this whole week. :\ Tomorrow I'm hitting the gym hard!

Scary Scary

Yesterday was the second possible beginning of the end for me. Remember this post about the first person to get laid off in my office? Well now the count is up to two. Yesterday one of my girlfriends at work got a visit from one of the corporate bigwigs. Apparently it wasn't to congratulate her on a job well done and give her a fat raise. She gets to work through the end of the week and then she's done. I'm not only going to miss this girl, but I'm getting more and more nervous about my job security.

The first guy to get fired had only been with us for a few months (he was the newest to the office). This girl who got pink-slipped yesterday is the second newest employee (since this summer). Guess who comes in third place? Me! I've been here for a little over a year, but I'm the third newest. I really hope there isn't a pattern forming... :\

And let's be honest - I don't really do all that much. I mean, I'm at work right now and I'm blogging. I pretty much open and distribute incoming mail, answer and direct phone calls (about 10-20/day as opposed to about 50-75/day before), and process and log outgoing mail. I used to do a lot more, when we were busy. Since I work for a construction company, work has slowed down drastically since this past summer. Hopefully things will pick up a little now that spring is coming up. We'll see.

Should I start looking around to see what other jobs are out there just in case? Or should I just ride it out and hope things pick up soon?

Monday Memoirs

Friday- On Friday night, we had our home teacher and his wife and the Nielsens over for dinner and Wii games. It was really fun to just hang out at home and have some people over. We don't do that enough because our house is so small. I wish we did it more often.

Oh - before our little get-together, Justin came by the house to show us his freakin sweet new motorcycle! It's a 2007 Honda 919 - his dream bike!! It's really, really nice. I have a fear of motorcycles, so I doubt I'll ever ride it, but we'll see. ;)

Saturday- I got woken up to Jed telling me goodbye because he was going to play frizz (frisbee) at the park with his friends. Well I wanted to go so I could talk to the wives, so I got up real quick and got ready and we left. We were only there for three hours (surprise, surprise) and I got burned on my face and arm - yep, arm. I only got burned on one side of my body because the sun was on my right the whole time. I look like Two-Face. But that's better than being burned all over. (We found out some possibly great news about some friends of ours. I'll let you know if it turns out to be the good kind of news.)

We went home and bummed around a little bit before we decided to go shopping. We got a bunch of stuff at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond for FREE! I love wedding gift cards!
Then Justin came over while his wife and sister went shopping. I got to crochet and the boys got to play video games - win/win.
When the girls were done shopping, we met up with them for some ice cream and then we went and soaked in the hot tub at Gold's. A great end to a fun day.

Sunday- I stayed at home, in bed, while Jed was at church. We had the lesson in nursery this week and he had to do it all by himself. What a trooper! I guess I'll have to do it all by myself next week... Joy.

We went up to my aunt's house for my cousin's 12th birthday party. It was good to see the family. I don't think we've seen most of them since Thanksgiving. All is well. For those of you in the fam, Mary and Steve are choosing not to know what their baby will be. Grams went to the ultrasound, but she couldn't tell what it was.

Today- Work, work, work. I was late today (like 25 minutes late) and my boss was having a meeting in a first floor room that has windows facing the parking lot where I park. I pulled right up to the window. Nice.

About 3 hours ago, I started feeling a fever coming on. Then the body aches started. My mom told me to take some Ibuprofen, so I did. I'm feeling a little bit better, but this is my late day and I'm not happy about having to stay here sick. I may or may not come in tomorrow. We'll see what happens. :(
