Utah Trip

I recently went to Utah for a little immediate-family reunion. It was so fun! But of course I didn't get very many pictures (ie. I got two when we first got in the car to start the road trip up there and one in the car driving around town) and blogs aren't as interesting without pictures, so I'll just quickly share some highlights.

*Milking a cow - it was awesome! And nothing like I thought it would be.
*Utah Olympic Park - such a fun day riding the Alpine Slide and zipline.
*Temple session with all of my endowed siblings - first time we've all been together in the temple since my wedding three years ago.
*Camping in the mountains - campfire, s'mores, and lots of fun!
*Cousin David's Homecoming - he's an outstanding guy.
*Seeing old friends
*Game night with Grandma
*Couple's Massage with my sister - haha!
*Of course, all of the yummy food that you can only get in Utah!

It was hard to get back into the real world. I'm already ready for another vacation. ;)

Friday Foto Fix

Get ready for some randomness!

This was a band that was playing at the Provo Farmer's Market when we went a few weeks ago. The electricity is powered by the guy riding a bike. Pretty cool, huh?

Grams' birthday a few weeks ago. Still young and gorgeous!

Awww. So cute! ;)

CAMPING! We're going tonight, so I thought I'd put up some pictures of our first camping trip this year.
Jed really liked the salad I made. :)
And he sang to me. I love that.

We went to Utah Lake on our way to a wedding reception about a month ago.

The end.

Purple Blood

For those of you who don't know, I have purple blood. It's a genetic thing. Better than blue blood. (That would be a lack of oxygen and when you don't get oxygen to your brain, your brain cells die.) Both of my parents went to the University of Utah and then my dad got his masters degree at Brigham Young University. Currently I'm in school at BYU, but if all were equal (cost, same degrees offered, etc.), I'd for sure be at the U. I'm a fan of BYU sports, until they play the U. Then I pretty much just root for whoever is winning. Ha! Pathetically unloyal, huh? :)

Anyways, the HOLY WAR is this weekend. Honestly, I don't care who wins. Purple, remember?
